Mike

Mike has been keeping animals happy and Strothertowne sparkling since 2021as a Kennel Assistant. After a career in music education and administration, Mike followed his passion for animals and his behind-the-scenes work makes a great impact at Strothertowne every day. Mike is a husband, dad, grandfather, and friend to all. He has been married to his wife, Pixie, for nearly four decades. Together they have four children, three grandchildren, a Great Dane named Mousse, and three cats. When Mike isn’t at Strothertowne, he is teaching karate and is a black belt. Mike considers one of his greatest blessings surviving cancer.
